Courier Service
Daily courier pickup of specimens and delivery of reports is available as well. Specimens are transferred quickly, at proper temperatures, and accessioned within one hour of receipt at our local laboratory in the Medical School enhancing specimen control and diagnosis.

Detailed Reports
Physicians receive a detailed report with a description of the diagnosis. Digital images of specimens can also be provided on request and transmitted via email or web on a secure server.

Most Health Plans Accepted
UAMS Pathologists accept most health plans and are preferred providers for nearly all managed care plans.

Billing
UAMS Pathology will directly bill the insurance company or financially responsible party. At the referring physician's request, the physician may be directly billed or invoiced for services provided by UAMS Pathologists. For additional billing information or questions, please call: 501-686-6527.
