Gastrointestinal and Hepatic Pathology
The UAMS Gastrointestinal and Hepatic Pathology consultation service is the
only one of its kind in the state of Arkansas. We provide expert diagnostic
services for a wide range of specimens, including medical gastrointestinal and
hepatic diseases, neoplastic processes, liver transplant pathology, and gastrointestinal
and hepatic infectious disease pathology. A wide array of special histochemical
stains and immunohistochemical stains, as well as numerous molecular assays
for infectious organisms, are available as well.
