Visitor and Patient Parking Information

Welcome to the UAMS Parking Operations website

Emergency Room parking is located just outside the Emergency Room on Shuffield Drive.  Parking is free of charge, in this non gated area.  

Visitor Parking Decks

For other parking needs we have 3 pay parking decks that provide convenient parking for our patients and visitors.

Parking 1, also called the South Deck, is located on Hooper and Shuffield.   Visitor parking is provided on levels 2 through 4.  It is convenient parking for the hospital and PRI.  Our Pay In Lane Station is available when exiting the deck.  It is an automated pay station that will accept cash or credit/debit cards.

Parking 2, also called the North Deck is located on Campus Drive.  Visitor parking is on A level which is the top level of the deck.  It is convenient for the hospital, COPH, and the Education Buildings.

Parking 3, also called the East Deck, is located at 4th & Cedar.  It is convenient for the Outpatient Clinics, Bio Med Building, Jones Eye Institute, Cancer Institute and the Stephens Spine Center.  Many clinics will validate the parking ticket for their patients.  Please remember to take the parking ticket pulled at the deck entrance gate to the clinic to be stamped.

Handicap parking is available on all 3 parking decks.  A handicap placard or license plate should be displayed to avoid receiving a parking citation.  Handicap parking spaces are subject to the same rate structure as non handicap parking.

Parking 2 and Parking 3 accepts cash and checks.

Parking 1 and the Parking Office accepts cash, checks, and all major credit/ debit cards.
