Parking Fees

Patient Parking

Emergency room patients will find parking available just outside the emergency room entrance. Non-emergency room patients can park in the visitor and guest areas. Many UAMS clinics and other patient areas validate parking for their patients. Please check with your doctor or clinic to see if they offer this service.  For more information on patient, guest and visitor parking please click here.

Visitor and Guest Parking

Parking is available for visitors and guests on campus at three different parking decks. Visitor and guest rates begin at $1.25 for the first hour, and $0.75 per additional hour to a maximum of $5.00 per day.

Employee and Student Parking

This table lists annual parking fees for the various parking areas available to employees and student on the UAMS campus. Both employees and students may park for free at War Memorial Stadium and ride the shuttle bus to the hospital area.

Please Note: Most all decks and lots have a waiting list.  Please click the Application Status Link to view the most current waiting list. Applications are added to the waiting list by receipt in the Parking Office and application date.

Additional Deck Options

Lot 1

The Gate opens at 4:30 PM for entry and unlatches at 10:30 PM. This means no one can enter the lot after 10:30 PM but vehicles in the lot will be able to exit. Vehicles without a 24 hour access decal should exit the lot by 7:00 AM to avoid receiving a citation.

Visitor Areas

Employees and Students are allowed to park in visitor areas of the decks from 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday and all day on weekends or holidays without receiving a parking citation.
Please Note: Students and employees will be charged the normal visitor deck rate when exiting through the cashier booths.
