Immediate Employee and Student Parking

Immediate Employee and Student Parking, No Waiting List!
If you are interested in immediate parking, please take advantage of the newly available Lot 18. This lot is located on 7th street on the south side of the VA and east of the Distribution Center. The cost for parking at Lot 18 is $233.00 per year. Employees will be payroll deducted. Student will pay in advance and receive a hang down pass.

There is no waiting list so if you are interested please come to the Parking Office on the 2nd floor of the Distribution Center between 7:30 and 4:00 to pick up your new decal. A map showing the new Lot 18 area can be seen here.

New Plans for Old ER Drive

Design Plans for Old ER Drive.

Plans are currently underway in redesigning the old emergency room drive allowing for additional employee parking. Part of this area will initially by utilized for construction during the Central Building Renovation. At completion we are expecting an additional 50 to 60 spaces for employee use.

Parking 2, A-Level Renovations

Since the opening of the new hospital, much of our patient and visitor volume has shifted from Parking 2 A-level (top level of North Deck) to the new deck connected to the hospital.

Parking 2 A-level has been deteriorating for quite some time, but we were not able to perform construction repairs due to lack of parking availability for our patients. It is now the prime opportunity for us to make these much needed repairs. A structural survey of the deck has been completed and construction will begin this Spring. The top level of the deck will be closed in ½ sections to complete the repairs.

It is anticipated that additional employee parking will be available once the renovation is completed. The top level will be divided between employee and visitor parking with an estimated 150 spaces specifically for employees. Parking assignments will be made based on application dates reflected on the current Parking 2 (North Deck) waiting list. To apply for Parking 2 or any other deck\lot on campus, please click here.

Did You Know?

Deck evening and weekend parking permits are available for Parking 2 (North Parking Deck). This gives access to the employee area of deck after 1:30 p.m. weekdays and 24 hours weekends and holidays. There is no waiting list!! Apply now!
