On or about 7/16/2012 the VA will be paving 7th Street between Jack T Stephens Drive and Hooper Drive. The VA estimates the project to be completed in early fall. Only West bound traffic will be permitted passage through the construction zone. The stops at Lot 10 and Shuffield Drive will not be serviced during this time.

Through the collaborative efforts of UAMS Information Technology and Parking Operations, GPS Tracking of the shuttle service is up and running. Riders will be able to view the location of the shuttle along the Standard and Express Route by going to the following web site: http://www.ridesystems.net/uams/
The GPS Tracking System will expand in the near future. Additional services include a downloadable app. And for riders who do not have Apple or Android smartphones, a texting option will be available for receiving up to the minute shuttle updates.

Summer Parking Available

UAMS Parking Operations has space available for temporary parking at the Residence Hall. The temporary space is available to both employees and students on Lot 14 and Lot 19. The location of these lots can be found toward the northwest corner of this map. The spaces will be available for May, June, and July 2012 only. The cost is just $30.00 per month. If you are interested please submit a parking application to the UAMS Parking Operations Department.

Immediate Employee and Student Parking, No Waiting List!

If you are interested in immediate parking, please take advantage of the newly available Lot 18. This lot is located on 7th street on the south side of the VA and east of the Distribution Center. The cost for parking at Lot 18 is $233.00 per year. Employees will be payroll deducted. Students will pay in advance and receive a hang down pass. There is no waiting list so if you are interested please come to the Parking Office on the 2nd floor of the Distribution Center between 7:30 and 4:00 to pick up your new decal. Did You Know?

Deck evening and weekend parking permits are available for Parking 2 (North Parking Deck). This gives access to the employee area of deck after 1:30 p.m. weekdays and 24 hours weekends and holidays. There is no waiting list!! Apply now!

Employees that are not on campus as a patient should park in designated employee parking areas only. This process supports our mission of creating comfort, hope, and healing for patients and families by assuring sufficient valued patient and visitor parking supply. Employees and students, if you are in a UAMS visitor area as a patient, please don't forget to call 526-PARK (526-7275) or click here to register your vehicle. This will assure that you or a family member driving a vehicle registered in an employees name do not receive a parking citation. Employees and Students should NOT park on side streets off campus. Employees and students should park only in designated areas served by the UAMS Shuttle, including War Memorial Stadium. The main shuttle operates from 4:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
