Contractor Parking

Information Sheet

PARKING OFFICE CONTACT INFORMATION

1. The Parking Department is located on the 2^nd floor of the Distribution Center at 7^th and Cottage.

2. The office hours are 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Monday through Friday.

CONTRACTOR LOT ACCESS

1. The entrance to the gravel Contractor Lot is off of Jack Stephens Dr past Plateau St on the right.

2. If a vehicle is found in the Contractor Lot without a hang down it will be booted.

CONTRACTOR PARKING ON A LEVEL (North Deck/Parking 2)

1. There is one entrance and exit gate off of Campus Drive.

2. A ticket will be dispensed to gain entrance onto the lot.

3. To exit please hand the booth attendant the entrance ticket and temporary hang down.

4. The height restriction for A-Level is 8 feet.

CONTRACTOR PARKING ON LOT 12

1. The entrance to Lot 12 is on 7^th St near South Cedar St.

2. If a vehicle is found on Lot 12 without a hang down it will be booted.

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Each contractor vehicle must have its own hang down.

2. The cost for all contractor parking is $45.00 per month.

COURTESY TO OUR PATTIENTS AND VISITORS

Please be courteous to our patients and visitors while driving in the deck. Many of them are entering the deck for the first time and are unfamiliar with the environment.

PARKING SECURITY

We strive to maintain a safe parking environment through collaborative efforts with stakeholders. Referenced below are security initiatives currently in place. If you notice suspicious activity, please call the UAMS Police Department at 686-7777.

• Surveys to assure lighting meets campus standards of .4 lumens on lots and 2.0 lumens inside decks

• Emergency phones are indicated with blue lights

• UAMS Police Department patrols regularly

PARKING ENFORCEMENT

Employee vehicles parked in visitor area or vehicles without a proper hang down or temporary pass will be issued citations. Parking is enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

SMOKING POLICY

UAMS is a smoke free campus. Please do not smoke on campus or in your personal vehicle while on campus. Violators will be reported to their supervisor and could lose parking privileges. We ask for your help in keeping our parking areas clean.
