UAMS Center for Hip and Knee Surgery

Dr. Richard Evans, Director of the Center for Hip and Knee Surgery, offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment of conditions of the hip and knee including Minimally Invasive Surgery for partial and total joint replacement of the hip and knee, total joint revision, complex reconstruction and limb salvage for failed or septic/infected joint replacements. Dr. Evans is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (AAOS ), is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Patient Safety Committee and is active in a number of Societies. Dr. Evans is co-founder and past President of the Musculoskeletal Infection Society (MSIS)

UAMS Center for Foot & Ankle Surgery

     The UAMS Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery Center offers  comprehensive management of all musculoskeletal problems of the foot and ankle.  Ruth Thomas, M.D., director of the Foot and Ankle Surgery Center, is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS).

UAMS Center for Shoulder & Elbow Surgery

The Center for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, under the directorship of Syed “Ash” Hasan, M.D., provides comprehensive care for patients with acute or chronic disorders of the shoulder and elbow.  The Center provides state-of-the-art equipment and prostheses for total joint reconstruction of both the shoulder and elbow.
