Certified Research Specialist Program (CRS)

Maintaining Certification

To maintain certification as a Research Specialist, you must:

Remain current in your Human Subject Protection training.
Complete 6 CRS contact hours each calendar year.

You may complete these requirements between January 1st and December 1st each calendar year.

You may count any CRS course toward your contact hours, including courses that you are re-taking.

You may also count up to 6 hours from conferences or courses offered by other programs, with the approval of the Education & Technology Resource Specialist.
