Housestaff, Residents and other employees who are ineligible for retirement benefits (including temporary employees, student employees, and employees who work less than 20 hours a week) are still eligible to make personal, unmatched, pre-tax contributions to Tax Deferred Annuities.

Employees who participate in an alternate State retirement plan - APERS or ATRS - are also eligible to contribute to Tax Deferred Annuities.

Because the contributions are pre-tax, they are not included in your taxable income reported on your W-2 when you file your Federal and State tax returns.

You can contribute to either of the 2 fund sponsors: TIAA-CREF and/or Fidelity. Each has numerous investment options so you can manage your portfolio.

TIAA-CREF TDA application	Complete this application if you want to contribute to the UAORP through TIAA-CREF, but are not eligible for the match.
Fidelity application 403(b)	Complete this application if you want to contribute to the UAORP through Fidelity, but are not eligible for the match.
