Accidental Death & Dismemberment  Insurance

AD&D insurance pays a benefit in the event of accidental death (full benefit) or dismemberment (partial benefit).   Our plan is a fully-insured group plan, underwritten by The Hartford.   Coverage amounts are available in $25,000 increments up to a maximum of $300,000; limited to 15 x salary for coverage over $150,000. 

Once you elect your amount of coverage, you would elect ‘employee only’ coverage or ‘family’ coverage.    If you elect family coverage, your spouse is covered at 60% of the amount you are covered for, and children are covered at 20%.

This is a voluntary, supplemental insurance.   You would pay the entire premium.   

You can enroll, change or drop your AD&D coverage at any time.   Forms are available in Human Resources.
