Instructional Development Specialist and Assistant

Service
Anna assists faculty across campus in the design and development of instructional materials
and in the implementation of instructional projects. She serves on the
Teaching and Technology Committee and
on the Graduate Medical Education Curriculum Committee. She reviews
proposals for several conferences and papers for Medical Education Online.
Teaching and Teaching Materials Development
Anna administers the
Teaching
Scholars Program and facilitates some of the workshops for the program. She
holds training sessions for residency program coordinators using New
Innovations' residency program management software.
Scholarship
Anna completed an impact evaluation of the Teaching Scholars
Program and presented the results at the Research in Medical Education
meeting and at the
American Educational Research Association.
She is also involved in a research group centered on the use of human
simulators in medical education that presented a poster at the
International Meeting for Simulation
in Healthcare.
