Ellen Lavelle, Ph.D.
Professor |
Ellen Lavelle is an educational psychologist who works
with UAMS faculty to conduct research regarding learning and teaching in
health professions education. She also consults regarding assessment and
program evaluation. Her research interests include learning and teaching
strategies, writing, professionalism, and both quantitative and qualitative
research paradigms. Before coming to UAMS, Ellen was Director of the
Excellence in Learning and Teaching Initiative at Southern Illinois
University in Edwardsville, where she also served as a professor in the
School of Education teaching courses in educational research and educational
psychology. Her personal interests include the visual and performing arts,
cooking and reading.
