Provides support for Blackboard and Wimba course
creation, implementation and assessment.
Teaching
David Dubriske has over 15 years experience teaching
mathematics and economics. He
has used Web-based technology to enhance his teaching since 2002. He has
developed and implemented numerous Web Courses. Mr. Dubriske is a strong
advocate of using assessment practices to create content delivery which will
improve student learning. He has presented his work using technology to
enhance student learning at regional and international conferences.
Scholarship
Mr. Dubriskes recent scholarship activity includes
publishing solution manuals for Finite Mathematics and Calculus. He has also
been active in using Web-based technology to create consistency across
different sections of common courses.
Background
Information
Before joining OED, David was an Assistant Professor of
Mathematics where he developed several on-line courses. He has been a leader
in assessing student learning to improve curriculum and create a learning
environment that benefits both student and teacher.
He earned his MS in Mathematics from
the University of Arkansas
Fayetteville and his MS in Economics from the University of North Carolina
Chapel Hill.
