Urogynecology is the subspecialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology that treats women with pelvic floor disorders such as urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, voiding dysfunction, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, constipation, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction.  The division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery provides consultation and comprehensive evaluation and diagnostic testing for women with complex pelvic floor conditions including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, genitourinary fistulas and congenital anomalies in order to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art care for women with pelvic floor disorders.

Urogynecologists are physicians trained in obstetrics and gynecology that have completed three additional years of specialized training in Women's Pelvic Health and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery.  Urogynecologists provide comprehensive, integrated care, offering patients evaluation and management strategies for disorders affecting the female pelvic floor.
