Living in Little Rock
Obstetrics and Gynecology is the division of medicine concerned with the health care of women with problems related to their pelvic organs. Regardless of a physician's chosen specialty, they will at some point in their training take care of women. Therefore, it is imperative that all medical students matriculate through the OB/Gyn Department.
It is our mission to provide each medical student with a core body of knowledge in the field of OB/GYN that is germane to all of medicine. We strive to prepare them for successful completion of the national standardized medical exams encompassing principles of women's health care.
It is our hope that the student's time spent in our department will be fruitful, meaningful, and enjoyable. We also encourage all students to consider a career in this field of medicine.
