OB/Gyn Patient Referrals

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology welcomes physician inquiries about medical management problems regardless of whether these problems result in referrals. The purpose is to help the physicians of the state in any way possible with any special expertise available. To speak with a staff physician about a gynecological patient, call (501) 686-7157 and ask for a staff physician. When referring a patient, please send any pertinent information with the patient or by FAX. The FAX number to Labor and Delivery is (501) 686-7809. Before sending records in this manner, call the toll-free hot line to notify the staff that records are being sent. If time allows, you may choose to mail the records to the appropriate clinic prior to your patient’s appointment.
