Reproductive endocrinology and infertility costs can vary widely, depending on the extent of the evaluation and treatment. First, check with your health insurance carrier. In Arkansas, insurance companies are required by law to cover in-vitro fertilization up to $15,000 in most cases, unless either partner has had a surgical procedure specifically to prevent pregnancy. Coverage for other procedures can vary. In some cases, a policy may not provide extensive coverage for infertility treatment, but will cover treatment of some medical conditions that can cause infertility.
