ITEM TYPE 3:  Continuation Item of an All-or-None Series (used with Item Type 2)

Darken response circles D E on the Item Type sheet for Type 3 items.

No special action is taken.  This item type designation is simply used to indicate a question that continues an all-or-none series.

Point values for item type 3 items are disregarded even if specified on a POINTS sheet, since the total points for the series is defined for the type 2 item which initiates the series.

NOTE: If there is no mark for a question of Item Type 2 or 3 on the KEY sheet then the whole series is invalidated.  That is, each item in the series is designated Type 5 - invalid.
