The Catering Department has some big changes coming to make everyone’s experiences better. The first step in this overhaul is a Calendar on the Public Folders drive. The calendar has been created as a checks and balances for the patrons who utilize the catering service. As catering orders come over the intranet, the orders will be entered into the calendar. Please allow 3 to 4 hours for Jennifer Conrad, Catering Manager, to enter them into the system. The entries will be placed on the corresponding date and include the department name, event name, location and time. The time will reflect the actual start time of the event and not the set up time.
You can find this calendar in Outlook under the Public Folders → All Public Folders → OPS Campus Operations → OPS Nutrition Services → Catering Calendar. Please feel free to drag the calendar to your Favorites folder under Public Folders.
The Nutrition Services department is hoping this step will alleviate any anxiety of events that perhaps have been previously missed or lost in the intranet. If anyone has concerns on a day that seems busy, please feel free to contact Jennifer Conrad directly at 686-7112 or jdconrad@uams.edu before placing an order. If Catering is no longer accepting orders for that day, an All Day entry will be placed at the top of that day. If you do not see your order, please contact Jennifer or the Catering Office at 686-7119.
