The Neurosurgical/Trauma Unit (2A) are dedicated to following the UAMS Corporate Compliance program in all areas. 

1. All 2A patients are offered their choice of providers for Home Health, durable medical supplies, rehabilitation, hospice care, medications and other services as deemed necessary by the health care team.  The list of those providers are given to each patient or their representative by the Licensed Social Worker covering 2A.
2. All 2A staff members receive information on the Compliance program through orientation.
3. Each 2A staff member is required to know the location of the Corporate Compliance policy.  The policy is reviewed annually.
4. The Compliance hot line number is posted at the time clock on the second floor.
5. Fire & Safety, Code of Conduct, ADA, Medical Waste Disposal and Sexual Harassment guidelines are followed per UAMS and unit policies as part of the 2A compliance policy.
