Job Title: Director, Division of Cellular and Molecular Neurosciences; (Associate or Full Professor)
Salary: Based on AAMC Median Salaries for All Basic Science Departments + incentives that vary with level of funding
Job Requirements:
We seek a research leader in the area of cellular and molecular neurosciences who can complement and lead further growth and development in the Division of Cellular and Molecular Neurosciences. Successful candidates will have a strong funded research program and experience in leading and mentoring faculty in research efforts. This individual will contribute to the development of programmatic funding. The Division Director will be expected to foster the growth of innovative, high-quality research and training in cellular and molecular neurosciences. Ideally, the research focus would complement and enhance research already present in the division, including neurotrauma, neuroinflammation, and glial cell biology. The teaching responsibilities would be in the area of microanatomy and/or cellular biology or neurosciences.
This Division includes a P30 Center grant with a group of researchers that are very well funded and actively maintaining and building core facilities to enhance neuroscience research all over the campus. This Division complements activities and core facilities in another Division of Translational Neurosciences. Collectively the two centers provide outstanding resources and facilities to promote cutting edge research in neurosciences.

Job Title: Tenure track faculty (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor)

Job Requirements:
We seek faculty in the area of developmental sciences and/or reproductive biology who can contribute to the development of programmatic funding. The candidates must also have a strong funded research program. We welcome faculty who would like to build their programs further in a dynamic, supportive research environment. The successful candidate will be expected to foster the growth of innovative, high-quality research and training in developmental biology on campus. Areas of current focus include, but are not necessarily limited to, fetal alcohol syndrome, early development, neuroendocrine regulation of development, eye development, neural development, oxidative stress, and aging. We seek faculty who can contribute to teaching in microanatomy and/or cell and developmental biology.
