The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences MDA/ALS Reserch Center
The UAMS MDA/ALS multidisciplinary ALS clinic specializes in the evaluation and care of patients with amyotrophic lateral slerosis or Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS), primary lateral sclerosis (PLS), progressive bulbar palsy, and progressive muscular atrophy (PMA). The director of the center's multidisciplinary team is Stacy Rudnicki, MD and the clinical coordinator is Deborah Fewell, LPN. Team members include a respiratory therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and dietician.
