 deposit in the amount shown
for the expected length of stay is required in advance. Insurance will
be billed for the semi-private room rate. UAMS will not bill insurance
for the difference but if the patient has private room coverage, we will
provide a receipt for the patient to submit directly to their own
insurance company for reimbursement.
The preferred method of deposit/payment is credit card. If the length
of stay is different than the deposit, an appropriate credit or debit
will be processed immediately upon discharge. If cash or check is used
as the payment method, the balance for an extended stay will be due at
discharge. If a credit is to be processed, a check will be sent to the
patient’s home after going through the required reimbursement process.
• Gourmet room service
available for extra charge. Meals will be charged to the same credit
card used for reservation.
• Staffing will be the
same as with any other hospital room, therefore one-on-one nursing care
is not available.

reserve one of the rooms (based on availability).
