Charles W. Smith,
M.D., Executive Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, is the host
for this section of our website. Dr. Smith is a board
certified Family Physician with over 20 years of experience in
practice and has encountered and treated the majority of
symptoms and illnesses that occur in most patients. |

continues to conduct an active practice and holds regular
office hours in the Family Medical Center at UAMS. Wearing
multiple hats, Dr. Smith is the Executive Associate Dean
for Clinical Affairs and is Professor in the Department of
Family and Community Medicine in the UAMS College of Medicine.
In addition to his University responsibilities, he is the
Founder, Chairman, and Medical Director of eDocAmerica
and serves as
an editor of a national journal for Family Physicians, the
"American Family Physician". He has also served as
the President of the American Board of Family Practice, which
is the national certifying body for Family Physicians. |
