CLINICS and MEDICAL SERVICES
As Arkansas’ only true teaching resource, UAMS Medical
Center remains on the forefront of new medical procedures and
technologies. We believe we provide better patient care because
we have a coordinated and integrated system that includes clinical
care, medical research and education. Because we are a
teaching medical center and all our physicians are on staff,
the knowledge and experience of many different specialties can
quickly be applied to the patient’s problem. In addition,
our research and educational programs inspire new knowledge
and methods that help improve patient care and are a unique
and valuable part of the way UAMS Medical Center doctors practice
medicine.

of our physicians among the best in the nation and state.
And, every year since 1996, U.S. News & World Report has
listed our hospital as “One of America’s Best.”
