How to Find Our Office
IRB Submissions

ARIA is the Automated Research Information Administrator. All IRB submissions and correspondence are accomplished through ARIA.

Principal investigators submitting to the IRB should refer to the IRB Standard Operating Policies and Procedures for specific guidelines on conduct of human research studies.

Studies requiring review

  • All research projects involving human subjects must be submitted to the IRB committee through ARIA.  For a determination from the IRB as to whether or not your project is human subject research and must be submitted through ARIA, please submit a completed Determination Request Form. An IRB Administrator will review the request and respond to you with the submission requirements.
  • Refer to UAMS IRB Policy 1.4: Studies Requiring Review for further guidance.
