You Have Been Told
Many investigators use the phrase “you will be told” in their consent
forms. Since the consent
process is purporting to answer all of the subject’s questions, use
instead the phrase “you have been told.”
Incorporate this change on any consent form submitted with a NEW
protocol or when a MODIFICATION is submitted requiring a consent form
change.
