Came to UAMS in August 2002 after a hiatus from a full-time journalism career that began at the Arkansas Democrat (now the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette) in 1986. Prior position at UAMS as a temporary employee in the Department of Health Information Management (Medical Records), 1997.

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS: Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R).

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: Grants Management Certification, November 2005.

PUBLICATIONS: Published articles in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Arkansas Democrat, Arkansas State Press, Pine Bluff Commercial, Los Angeles Business Journal, and The Filipino American.
