SUBJECT:  Consultants

The HRAC at its discretion may invite scientists or non-scientists from within or outside the University of Arkansas, who are not members of the HRAC and have special expertise to function as consultants for study applications and to assist the HRAC in its review process. These consultants will have access to all documents submitted to the HRAC relevant to the specific project under review, may participate at the deliberations and make recommendations on the project, but may not vote with the HRAC and will not be included in determining or establishing quorum at the meetings.  Their identities will be kept confidential [21CFR56.107(f); 38CFR16.107(f); 45CFR].
