The University of Arkansas for
Medical Sciences (UAMS) will co-sponsor a free seminar,
"Working Your Way through the Medicare Maze," Tuesday,
Oct. 29, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This seminar will be in Walton
Auditorium on the 10th floor of the Arkansas Cancer Research
Center at UAMS in Little Rock. The event is for people who are 65
years of age or older, are on disability or are eligible for
Medicare. Reservations must be made by Monday, Oct. 28; call (800)
272-5528, ext. 3.

A new book by Lipschitz,
"Breaking the Rules of Aging" (LifeLine Press, $24.95),
will be available for purchase at the seminar. In the book,
Lipschitz shatters many of the common medical misconceptions about
the aging process.

Way Through the Medicare Maze" are the American Association
of Retired Persons; the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care;
CareLink (Central Arkansas Area Agency on Aging); Medicare
Services; the Seniors Health Insurance and Information Program of
the Arkansas State Insurance Department; and Social Security
