Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of ICM II, you will be able to:

  1. Perform a complete history and physical examination on a patient with multi-system disease.
  2. Perform a focused history and physical examination.
  3. Integrate basic science principles into the clinical encounter.
  4. Appropriately document any patient encounter.
  5. Effectively communicate findings and problems to other health care providers.
  6. Identify common (and some uncommon) medical problems and diagnoses.
  7. Develop a differential diagnosis for some of the common complaints.
