Examinations

There will be computer-based quizzes, written examinations, and clinical examinations.

If you must miss a quiz or exam, you must notify the course director or the ICM office BEFORE the session begins. Failure to provide prior notice will result in an unexcused absence. Any UNEXCUSED absence from a quiz or written examination will result in a grade of "zero" for that examination.

Any UNEXCUSED absence from a clinical examination, including the practice examination, will result in a grade of "zero" and the issuance of a negative scholastic non-cognitive evaluation.

After each written exam or quiz is graded, a key will be available in the Learning Resource Center (5th floor of the library) for a specified period of time and an appeal deadline will be announced.

Appeals of questions on the written exams and quizzes may be submitted to the course director or ICM office after each exam via e-mail by the announced deadline. A textbook reference will significantly strengthen your chances of a successful appeal.

Based on the appeals, alternate answers may be accepted or questions may be deleted entirely from the exam.
