Steps for applying to Graduate School
Sophomore and Junior Years Try undergraduate research (UAMS
has summer research programs)
Begin researching and visiting schools
Examine program prerequisites
Attend UAMS Career Day (held every November)
Acquire application materials
Take Graduate Records Exam (GRE)
Have scores sent to graduate schools (UAMS ETS code is 6901)
Senior Year
Request all transcripts be sent to graduate school
Obtain letters of recommendation
Submit application materials
