Giving To UAMS

2006
UAMS Bookstore

UAMS Bookstore

A larger student bookstore, more conveniently located closer to the education buildings opened its doors in early 2006.

Since the old UAMS Bookstore had been located in the Jeff Banks Student Union, which was imploded to make room for the major hospital addition, a new bookstore was needed. The new bookstore, located at 200 Hooper Drive, across from the Education Building II and near the new Residence Hall, is about 4,000 square feet in size, larger than the 2,805-square-foot previous bookstore.

The UAMS Bookstore offers the recommended textbooks for current classes on the UAMS campus as well as equipment, software, clothing and books.

This building added 4,000 square feet to education after 19,565 square feet was lost when the Student Union was imploded.
