Giving To UAMS

1979
Outpatient Center

Outpatient Center

The Outpatient Center, formerly known as Ambulatory Care Center (ACC), is a four-floor structure with connections to the Jones Eye Institute, the Arkansas Cancer Research Center and hospital. It houses multiple services for UAMS patients, including primary and specialty care clinics, outpatient surgery, pharmacy, radiology, ancillary, diagnostic and other services which support outpatient care. The original structure was completed in 1979 and expanded in 1987 and again 1989 to meet the increasing volume of patients.

The completion of the Outpatient Center added 155,557 square feet to support outpatient care at UAMS.
