» Requirements for Admission to Advanced Studies in Pathology

In addition to the documents and requirements for admission to the Graduate School of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, the Department of Pathology requires the following for admission to the program for an advanced degree:

(Return all items to the Graduate School Office)

  1. Bachelor’s degree with a major in a biological science, chemistry, or in a related field.
  2. Satisfactory performance on the verbal and quantitative sections of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Official scores must be submitted by the office that administers the test.
  3. Required grade point average of 3.0 (A = 4.0) or better.
  4. Three letters of recommendation.
  5. Interview, if possible.

At this time, only the Master of Science degree is offered by the Department of Pathology.
