In addition to the documents and requirements for admission to the Graduate
School of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, the
Department of
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology requires the following for admission to the
program for an advanced degree:

Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in chemistry or a biological science.
Satisfactory performance on the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE).
Official scores must be submitted by the office that administers the test.
Letters of evaluation from at least three former instructors.
Candidates should have at least a B average in science and math courses.
Candidates for Ph.D. must have credit for two semesters of organic
chemistry.
6. For foreign applicants, minimum TOEFL
scores of 213 (computer
test) or 550
(written test) are
required.
