Any domestic applicant must submit the following documents:

Official transcripts from each university
attended even if listed as transfer credit on another transcript.
The Graduate School requires a minimum
cumulative grade-point average of 2.70 (A=4.00) or better on all undergraduate
coursework attempted at a regionally accredited institution of higher education
is required (regardless of any modifications to the academic record by the
undergraduate institution on the basis of academic clemency or grade forgiveness
policies). The UAMS Graduate School does not have a forgiveness policy for
evaluation of transcripts. However; should an applicant fail to meet this
requirement, the program may petition on behalf of the applicant the Dean of the
Graduate School to consider an exception to this requirement. Any decisions by
the Dean to grant exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis.
For all applicants, official test results
of the GRE score must be sent directly to UAMS by the Educational Testing Service. A photocopy of the scores sent to the student, who
in turn forwards the scores to UAMS is not sufficient. No action will be taken
on an application containing a photocopied test score.
There is no exception to this
policy. The code for the UAMS Graduate School is

Three letters of recommendation (Please note: Three programs require letters
to be filled out on specific forms-
Communicative Disorders program
Genetic
Counseling program, and
Pharmaceutical Evaluation Policy track of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Please click on the names of these programs to
access the recommendation forms.) Each
program may require
additional materials (including essays). Please
check with each program for
requirements not listed above.

Statement of Purpose
Letters of recommendation directly from recommender
It is the applicant’s
responsibility to make sure all application materials have been received by
the Graduate School. Please contact Jackie McRoberts, at
GraduateAdmissions@uams.edu to confirm receipt of transcripts, letters of
recommendation, affidavits of support (if required), GRE/ TOEFL scores, or other
documents required by the program.
All admission decisions are communicated in writing by the
Dean of the Graduate School. The Graduate School cannot communicate admission
decisions via email or phone calls.
