Resident Teaching Skills Manual
This manual, created by Jeffrey E. Pettit, PhD, Office of Consultation
and Research in Medical Education, University of Iowa, is intended to be a
resource to assist residents in their day-to-day teaching encounters. It is
intended to: 1) provide “how – to” guidelines for the novice and experienced
teaching resident, 2) identify additional resources [with information
pertinent to educating others], and 3) be a quick reference guide for common
teaching situations. (Note: this resource is available to the UAMS community
only, therefore you must be on-campus or enter your UAMS global login
information when prompted.)
