Many supporters of
UAMS use bequests, living trusts, gift
annuities, charitable remainder trusts,
or life insurance policies to make
deferred gifts to the institution. In
these ways, they are able to continue
receiving income from the funds during
their lives, while making planned, or
deferred, gifts to support research,
education, or clinical care at UAMS.
It is even possible
to increase retirement income and
also increase bequests to heirs
while making generous gifts to UAMS.
The UAMS Office of Planned Giving can assist
individuals, couples, and families in
careful estate planning. Staff can
suggest types of planned gifts for
different financial needs and make
referrals to accountants and lawyers.
Perhaps you want to make research on
birth defects part of your legacy, or
perhaps you would like to support
education in nursing or pharmacy.
Whatever your charitable interests, we can match your interests to
giving opportunities at UAMS.
