Pricing Fees for Flow Cytometry Fees effective July 1, 2005 ***Charges begin with the time of your appointment, not at the time that you arrive. *** Late arrivals create scheduling problems and can delay other customer appointments. If your acquisition or analysis will significantly delay the next customer's appointment, your samples may be kept at room temp, or in the refrigerator (whichever is appropriate) to be finished as time permits. "No-shows" will be charged the minimum charge. There is no penalty for cancellation of appointments, as long as the cancellation is made by 10am for the FacsAria or at least 1 hour before the appointment time for the FacsCalibur. Otherwise you will be charged the minimum time for the appointment. Please see our charging policies. Data acquisition: The flow cytometry fee for acquisition and analysis on the FACSCalibur is $60/hr with a minimum of 30 min. Afterward, the time is charged in 15 min increments. Fees for acquisition and analysis on the FACSAria are $80/hr, with an additional $20 set up fee. Data analysis/printing: If you need additional data analysis time on the computer beyond your original appointment time, the regular data acquisition charges will apply. This is because we will be unable to schedule acquisition appointments during the time the computer is used for analysis. Consultation: There is no charge for consultation with flow facility personnel. However, we ask that you make an appointment for consultation so that you will not interrupt other customer appointments. CBA analysis: BD Biosciences CBA Flex Set reactions may be acquired on the FACSCalibur and analyzed in our facility for the regular flow fee ($60/hr). Due to the number of different possible combinations, we will not set up CBA Flex Set reactions. Pre-packaged BD Biosciences CBA Kits may be set up and analyzed by the flow facility: Human (Inflammation or Th1/Th2)

Other CBA kits -- determined as needed based on kit pricing. ***Due to the expense of CBA kits, if we cannot gather a minimum of 50 samples, we will not order the kit. Customers may order kits for the full price (50 reactions x price per reaction). We will then run the samples "prepaid" as needed. Each kit contains 2 standards, so each kit may be used only twice with standards.***
