This page serves two purposes.  First it allows you to download the program (client) for either Windows or Macintosh.  This way you can install FirstClass on your computer at home, in the office, or any laptop.`

Second, the page also allows you to connect to the Web-based version of the FirstClass system, which is a quick and easy way to access FirstClass and your email from any computer, without you having to have downloaded the software first.

If you decided to download the software, you will probably see a download box appear, asking you where you want to save your software.  Make sure you save the software somewhere where you can easily access it.

When the download has finished, you will see an icon named FC-UAMS.exe that will look like: 

Double click on the icon and the start-up screen will pop up and ask you where you want to install FirstClass. Your best bet is to just click on Next and let FirstClass install itself in the default directory.

That's all you need to do - FirstClass will take care of the rest.  When you're ready to actually use FirstClass, just click on the icon which will be in the Start Menu under "programs" and under the folder "FirstClass"

When FirstClass is done installing, it will place three icons for you - one will be on the desktop marked FirstClass.  Another one will be in the task bar at the bottom left of your screen and the last one will be under Start Menu > Programs > FirstClass

If you want to jump into FirstClass right away - without downloading the software - all you need to is click on the login button.  

By clicking this login button, you can directly access FirstClass with your UAMS user name and password.
