Staff Aida Shanti, M.D., is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the subspecialty of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She has 13 years experience in surgical, medical and pharmaceutical methods of treating infertility. Prior to joining the faculty at UAMS she was the Medical Director for the fertility program at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Our laboratory director, Marlane Angle, Ph.D. has 30 years of experience in the field of reproductive physiology and has been the director of an in vitro fertilization laboratory since 1987. She is board certified as a high complexity laboratory director by the American Association of Bioanalysts, has been a laboratory inspector for the College of American Pathologists, served on the board and as chair of the Reproductive Laboratory Technology Professional Group of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and has traveled extensively teaching embryologists new methods for freezing eggs and embryos. Cheryl Graves, N.P., is our nurse and has more than 15 years nursing experience.
