HIPAA Training
Required HIPAA Privacy and Security is a one-time training requirement for all UAMS workforce members, to inform them of UAMS policies regarding HIPAA. It is for those who did not complete a one-hour HIPAA course at New Employee or Student Orientation, and it must be completed within 30 days of starting at UAMS and before any access to patient computer systems is granted. This training will take about one hour and has a quiz at the end. You will not need to repeat this training if you have had it in the past.
