of Patient Care Services RN
Program where any Clinical
Program’s RN who is full-time
is eligible to refer a full-time RN
(3 years acute care experience
required) that is hired.
Here are the basics
of the program:

Referral form must be completed and submitted at
the time the RN application is received in
the Nurse Recruitment Office.

Only one referral/applicant name is accepted & employee is limited to one referral award.

With the continued employment of both referring employee and the recruited RN, the referring employee will be paid according to the following schedule:
$1000 @ completion of probationary period
$4000 @ completion of 1st year employment
$5000 @ completion of 2nd year employment
$5000 @ completion of 3rd year employment
- Both employees must maintain same or greater employment
status and not be on written warning to receive
payments.
- Ineligible employees: Nursing
Directors, Clinical Services Managers, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Clinicians, ADONs,
Nurse Recruitment/Human Resources, traveling
nurses, agency nurses, internal transfers,
employed at UAMS at anytime during the past 12 months, or Loan
students.
- "Critical Areas" are defined as 24/7 operations in Hospital
(In Patient Units, ED, Surgical Services and PRI).
