Hematology & Oncology
Fellowship:
There are a total of nine fellowship positions. The curriculum calls for a three-year hematology/oncology fellowship that includes outpatient care at the Arkansas Cancer Research Center, inpatient experience including bone marrow transplantation at the University and VA Hospitals, hemophilia consultations at Arkansas Children's Hospital, exposure to planning radiotherapy, diagnostic tumor pathology and cytogenetics. Through joint efforts with the Department of Pathology, a unique Hematopathology program has been created, offering major expertise in morphology, cytogenetics, cytokine research and molecular diagnosis related to leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
US graduates and Foreign medical graduates with US Internal Medicine
training are welcome to apply. Our program accepts J1 and H1b visas.
