John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital

The John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital is a 500 bed, eight-story facility which opened in 1984. It is the largest Veterans Administration hospital in the country in the number of patients admitted each year. It is immediately adjacent to the campus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and serves as one of our major teaching facilities. The hospital provides acute care at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels in Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, and Rehabilitation, and serves as a regional center for cardiology and cardiovascular surgery.
