Arkansas Children's Hospital
Arkansas Children's Hospital, which houses virtually all of the Pediatric services of the University of Arkansas, is one of the largest pediatric health care centers in the nation. Its campus spans over 28 city blocks. The hospital is complemented by the Roy and Christine Sturgis Educational Corridor and the Sturgis Building which houses physician offices, a 200-seat auditorium, classrooms, the hospital's Clinical Laboratory, and a Medical Library. The hospital's 316 staffed beds include an 85-bassinet neonatal intensive care unit. Extensive clinical facilities house the general pediatric clinic and the 70+ subspecialty clinics offered at the hospital. The Arkansas Children's Hospital Research Institute (ACHRI), located on the south end of the campus, has over 190,000-SF of research space and is 100+ researchers strong. The newest addition to the hospital is the PULSE (Pediatric Understanding and Learning through Simulation Education) Center.
