Dr. Pyne is known for his expertise in cost-effectiveness analysis and
health-related quality of life research.
Dr. Pyne is currently the PI on:
* Psychophysiological Reactivity to Identify and Treat
Veterans at Risk for PTSD - a VA funded
project to evaluate the clinical use of psychophysiological measures as
screening and outcomes monitoring tools for OIF/OEF veterans in
treatment and at risk for PTSD.
* Patient-Centered Medication Adherence Intervention for Schizophrenia
- a VA funded project to develop and test a patient-centered
antipsychotic medication adherence intervention for patients with
schizophrenia.
* Cost-Effectiveness of Reducing Drug Treatment Barriers
- a NIDA funded study to evaluate the cost-effectiveness and
cost-effectiveness methods related to substance use disorder
interventions.
* HIV Translating Initiatives for Depression into Effective
Solutions - a VA funded project to
evaluate a depression collaborative care intervention for patients with
HIV.
And he is Co-PI on:
* Telemedicine-Based Collaborative Care to Reduce Rural Health Disparities
(Dr. John Fortney PI) - a NIMH funded study to
evaluate a depression collaborative care intervention for patients in
community health centers.
