Immigration Physicals

The Preventive Occupational and Environmental Medicine (POEM) clinic also offers immigration physicals which are necessary in the application of those in Arkansas seeking resident status or an adjustment of status. These immigration physicals consist of an extensive interview, a complete physical and any tests or immunizations required by immigration services. An official, sealed document to provide to an immigration officer will then be provided to the client after all test results and necessary evaluation is complete.
Your age and immunization record will determine your examination requirements. An adult exam for those over the age of 15 will consist of the following:
- A physical examination
- A TB skin test
- HIV blood test
- Blood test for syphilis (RPR)
- Routine immunizations
To expedite your paperwork, please bring the following with you to your visit:
- Picture ID (passport or other federally approved documentation)
- Medical records for any chronic or serious medical problem
- Vaccination records, and records of immunity titers if they have been done
- Any records of HIV, syphilis, tuberculosis testing done in the past year
- Alien registration number if available
